Tactical CAT GEN 6 Tourniquet - TCCC - IFAK

Tourniquets are used for first aid when massive bleeding occurs in limbs. They compress blood vessels to block blood flow to stop bleeding.
How to use: Can only be tied on 3/1 of the upper arm or the middle and upper part of the thigh, and loosen for 30 seconds for 30 minutes.

1: It is strictly prohibited to tie it in other parts. The radial nerve in the middle and lower part of the upper arm will be damaged and may lead to paralysis. The forearm cannot stop bleeding because the blood vessels are located between the two bones.
2: It must be tied tightly, otherwise it will only compress the venous blood and completely prevent it from flowing back, which will make the bleeding more serious.

3: Strictly adhere to the 30-minute duration, which can be extended appropriately in winter, and be released slowly. Excessive time can lead to limb necrosis.

It is best for novices to consult experienced people or use it under the guidance of a doctor.
